drums #3
hi, this post is more about the hi-hat, the high-hat is a cymbal to of them. you have a pedal that brings them together to make a sound, or you could just hit it with your drum sticks. the hi-hat also has a unique sound, un-like any other cymbal I have heard.

drums # 2
this post is about the bass drum. the bass drum is the lowest and biggest in the drum kit. it is usealy played by a kick pedal. if you are in a marching band, if you play the bass drum, it will be strapped to your chest.

drums #1
ok, since there are so many different drums i will start here and go 1 by 1. this post will be about the snare drum. my friend plays snare at our school band. the snare has these bead like things that are on a strip that give the snare its orignal sound. if you have any questions about the snare ask me.

BASS
yay! this is my favorite instrument and i play bass too! the bass is kind of like a guitar, but the neck is longer and that makes it deeper, the sound is lower, it has four strings but other than that the bass is pretty much the same! it has a head stock, a neck, a body, strings, pick-ups, tuning pegs, and stuff like like that. go to google and look up bass images to get the feel of the bass!

GUITAR
Today's post is about guitars. I hate it when on TV shows they don't show the guitar right, ( ex. Sponge bob, johnny test. shows like that). Today we will go top to bottom. First we have the tuning pegs, the strings are attached to these and you tune the sound by turning the pegs. Now we have the head stock,( the tuning pegs are attached to the head stock) and it is at the very top of the guitar. Now the neck, the head stock is attached to the neck and the strings "run" down the neck to the body. The body is attached to the neck and if it is acoustic the body will have a hole under the strings, this is were the sound comes out. If it is an electric guitar it will have pic-ups then the sound comes through the power cord and out of the amp. If you don't know what a guitar looks like go to google.com and google acoustic guitars ( images) and electric guitars ( images) and feel free to look up amps and other stuff!
